Reaction of chinese fans towards a particular tumblr edit

okay so… i was surfing weibo for a longer time than usual since twitter is banned here in beijing. and then i came across this. i didn’t know whether to translate this at first, because it might cause uneccessary drama. but since the chinese fans already dislike the tumblr community so much, i feel like i had to so that we don’t make the same mistake(s) again and anger them even more TT___TT

those of you who don’t understand chinese, don’t make chinese edits unless you’re 100% sure of what it means and that it makes sense (there was already a separate issue where a chinese edit from tumblr that didn’t make sense was spread to weibo and we became a laughing stock :/) some of us might take jokes in a lighter way, but the chinese fans are a little more sensitive i guess.

白鹭的KAI北鼻： Half a month ago, that P (edit) uploaded onto tumblr already almost pissed me off to death. Fine, the one who made it was a foreigner — don’t know chinese but acts like he/she does, so we have to deal with this calmly. Now, it has already been spread to weibo, those who laughed and zhuan fa (something like RT or reblogs) tell me, how is the word prostitute funny when it’s used on your idols? did your language teacher die early? now, go ask your dad and mum, xx’s prostitute — what does it mean. have you eaten your own brain?
